7. Applications
This sound programmer is for fast transfer of sound files; other decoder settings are not transferred.
7.1. Conducting a Sample
We recommend that you conduct the sample "mSD" once that has been called up. Now generate the
sound file with the button
.
You now have the possibility of looking at the sound data. A printout cannot be done at this point.
7.2 Rerecording Sounds
Call up the rider "Programmer"
. The yellow LED on the

sound programmer will begin to light up. This LED indicates that the decoder is being supplied with
power. After the transfer has ended, the red, yellow, and green LEDs will light up. You can now listen to
the sounds with the buttons S0 - S15. There is the requirement that you equipped the sound programmer
in advance with a speaker (see page 10). These buttons do not reproduce the function buttons for the
decoder; they correspond to the sound numbers.

After you have shut off the power to the decoder with the button
in the "Voltage" field and the yellow
LED has gone out, the decoder can then be removed from the sound programmer and plugged into the
locomotive. Never remove the decoder from the sound programmer when the power is still on. The red
and green LEDs on the sound programmer will continue to light up.
Additional settings on the decoder must be done with the Central Station.
