There are two samples in the folder mDecoderTool and your own projects and the data for the current
Märklin mSD sound decoders are stored here.
There are sample sound data in the folder Sound Library. There you will also store the complete sound li-
brary offered on the website.
Open the Tool after you have completed the installation. The following selections will appear.
Select the function "Edit existing project". Confirm with "Ok". Select the "mSD" sample folder provided
with the program.
Before you do further steps, you must first set up the interface. Proceed as shown to do this. A COM port
was assigned to your sound programmer. You can look at this in the Windows device manager under Con-
nections (COM & LPT). Now proceed as shown:
Select "Settings" --->
-> the selection for the interfaces... ---->
If you receive this error message ...
... check the USB connection between the sound programmer and your computer or the entry of the COM
Interface under Settings /Programming/Sound.

go to Programming -> and then to Sound. Click with the mouse
on the latter; the following will appear ->
select the COM interface; leave the Baud
Rate and confirm with "Ok".
