4.2 Alarm messages
The alarm differs from the error since it doesn't need any confirmation by the user. Generally
speaking:
•
It warns that the requested action cannot be performed
•
it warns that the action has been performed but not as optimal condition
The message disappears after a short time.
The alarm is notified as follows:
where "xx" stands for the alarm number:
80 action not allowed at the current system status
81 request of zeroing when the displayed value of the contact position exceeds ± 20%
of the measuring range of the probe with respect to its own optimum zeroing
position; the zeroing can howewer be performed.
83 zeroing cannot be performed at the current status
84 gauge signal visualization not allowed at the current system status
98 it follows error 98. Confirm by pressing ENTER.
