Kopieren von Cassetten (DUBBING)
Mit den zwei Laufwerken
lassen sich Cassetten von Deck
A zu
Deck B Uberspielen. Durch Drilcken der Taste DUBBING starten
.
beide Laufwerke, wobei das Laufwerk A wiedergibt und das Lauf-
.
werk B aufnimmt. Bei diesem Kopiervorgang sind die Dolby NR-
Schaltung und die Aufnahme-Pegelregler (RECORD LEVEL) ohne
Funktion. Dolby B und Dolby C wirken nur beim Mithéren und haben
Keinen Einflu8 auf die Dubbing Aufnahme.
Bei DUBBING
NORMAL
ist das Mithéren mit normaler- und bei
DUBBING HIGH mit verminderter Lautst4rke méglich.

erhdéhte Kopiergeschwindigkeit.
Mit der Pausetaste [}] kann der Kopiervorgang unterbrochen werden;
dabei bleibt das Laufwerk
A weiterhin in Wiedergabefunktion d. h. das
Band lauft weiter. Durch Drucken der Starttaste [> wird der Kopier-
vorgang erneut fortgesetzt.
Hat die Cassette in Deck B eine kleinere Laufzeit als die in Deck A, so
kann mit der Taste MODE (angezeigt im Display —" ) umgeschal-
tet werden. Sobald in Deck B das Bandende erreicht ist, tritt eine
Uberspielpause von ca. 10 Sekunden (Vorspannband) ein. Nach -
dieser Pause wird die Aufnahme dann im Reverse-Modus fortgesetzt.
Der Uberspielvorgang kann mit einer der Stoptasten am 1 Laufwerk A
oder B beendet werden.
Kopieren von einem CD-Player auf elne Cassette (CD-COPY)
Durch Driicken der Taste CD-COPY laBt sich das Uberspielen von
CD auf Cassette starten, Voraussetzung, Cassettendeck, CD-Spie-
ler und Verstarker sind mit einer RC-Busleitung verbunden..
Auch bei CD-COPY kénnen Sie den

wahlen, sodaB am Bandende eine Uberspielpause im 10 Sek.)
wahrend des Laufrichtungswechsel eintritt.
Betrieb mit einer externen Schaltuhr, TIMER.
Sie kénnen die Wiedergabe- oder Aufnahme-Funktionen mit einer
Schaltuhr starten und beenden. |
- Cassettengerat mit dem POWER-Schalter emscnalten.
Wiedergabe:
- Funktion Play mit TIMER-Schalter vorwahien.
- Cassette(n) einsetzen und aut die gewtnschte Startposition Spu-
len.
Ein- und Ausschaltzeit an sisi Schaltuhr einstellen und das Deck mit
dem Netzstecker Uber eine Schaltuhr an das Netz anschlieBen.
- Zur gewahiten Einschaltzeit wird in Normalrichtung D gestartet.
- Werden zwei Cassetten eingelegt, so lauft zum Einschaltzeitpunkt
die Funktion Autoplay ab.
Bei einer eingelegten Cassette erfolgt, nur im Deck B, Wiedergabe
in Dauer-Reverse.
Aufnahme:
- Funktion REC (Record) am TIMER-Schalter vorwahlen.
- Cassette mit ausreichenden Bandvorrat in das Deck B einlegen.
Das Laufwerk B startet zur gewahiten Einschaltzeit erst in Normal-
richtung.
Soll keine Aufnahme auf der zweiten Seite der Cassette (Reverse-
Mode) erfolgen, so sichern Sie diese Seite durch Ausbrechen der
Sicherungsnase gegen versehentliches Léschen.
Bandzahler (nur Deck B)
Mit der Taste MEMO 1a8t sich flr Deck B anhand des Zahlerstandes
eine Stopstelie abspeichern (Memory).
Speichern

- Das Cassettenband auf den zum Speichern gewiinschten Zahl-
werkstand hinfahren. Die Taste MEMO driicken; das Display zeigt
MEMO und der angezeigte Zahlerstand ist gespeichert.

Das Band spult exakt an die durch den Zahlwerkstand bestimmte
Bandstelle.

- Taste MEMO oder Taste 0-SET erneut driicken.
Fernbedienung mit RC 2, (Abb. 2)
Vom Deck B kénnen Uber die Fernbedienbuchse RC-BUS und der
Infrarot-Fernbedienung
RC 2 femgesteuert werden: Wiedergabe
Start [>, Reverse<], Umspulen <\xJ /[>D und Stop DO , sowie
Aufnahme © und Pause {Jf} . Voraussetzung ist eine Verbindung
Uber Busleitung vom Cassettendeck direkt zum Verstarker. Zum
Fernbedienen des Deck A miussen Sie zusatzlich die Taste >Deck A<
gedrickt halten.. Die Fernbediensignale werden vom RC- Empfanger
per Infrarot-Sensor aufgenommen und Uber BUS-Leitungen an die
verschiedenen Audiogerate weitergegeben. Nach der Funktionswahl
Aufnahme (Pause) kann die Aufnahme nur in der zuvor gelaufenen
Siationang fongesete: MOON:
Copying Cassettes (DUBBING)
The two drive mechanisms allow to record cassettes from deck Ato
deck B. Pressing the DUBBING button causes the decks A and B to
start playback and record, respectively. in this process the DOLBY NR
switch and the recording level controls are non-operative. DOLBY B
or DOLBY C are only active when monitoring. They do not have any
influence on the dubbing process.

remains in playback mode and dubbing can be continued at any time

lf the cassette in deck B has a shorter running time than the one in
deck A, the unit can be switched over to reverse mode (
shown in display) after recording-start using the MODE button. When
the end of the tape is reached, a copying pause of approx. 10 se-
conds will take place (leader tape), after which the recording will be
continued in the reverse mode. To stop the dubbing process press
one of the stop buttons on deck A or B.
Copying from a CD onto a Cassette, (CD-COPY)
Copying from a CD onto a cassette can be initiated by giving the CD-
COPY button a single press, provided cassette deck, CD player and
amplifier are interconnected via a so-called bus line.
The reverse mode
can also be selected on CD-COPY. If this
done, a copying pause of approx. 10 seconds will take place during
the tape direction change at the end of the tape.
Operation with external TIMER

It is possible to start and stop the Praypack ng recording functions
with an external timer.
- Switch the cassette deck on with the POWER switch.
PLayback |
- Select the play mode with the TIMER switch.
+ Insert cassette(s) and, if required, wind to the desired starting posi-
tion.
- Set the timer to the required switch-on and switch-off times and
connect the cassette deck via the timer to the mains.
At the programmed switch-on time the unit will start in normal
direction > .
If two cassettes are inserted, then the AUTO function will take place
at the switch-on time.
With one cassette fitted, playback will take place in the continu
ous reverse mode (only on deck B).
Recording:
- Select REC mode with the TIMER switch.
- Load cassette with adequate playing time into deck B.
At the programmed switch-on time deck B will first start in normal
direction.
If no recording is to be made in the reverse direction, protect this
side against accidental erasure by breaking out the protection lug.
Counter (only o on deck B)
The MEMO button enables you to enter a sepoiNG position in the
memory for deck B using the counter reading.
To enter In memory
- Wind the cassette tape to the desired counter position. Press the
MEMO button; the display shows MEMO and the indicated counter
position is stored.
The recorder now winds the tape to the exact position as deter-
mined and stored by the counter reading.
To erase memory
- Press MEMO button again or press 0-SET button.
Remote control RC 2 (Fig. 2)
The following functions of deck B can be remotely controlled via the
remote control socket RC-BUS and the infrared remote control RC 2:

Pp> and stop
as well as record ©
and pause [JJ]. For this purpose, the cassette
deck must be connected via bus line directly to the amplifier.
For remote control of deck A the >Deck A< button must be held
pressed in addition. The remote control signals are taken up by the RC
receiver via an infrared sensor and supplied on the BUS lines to the
different audio components.
After having selected the function recording (pause), the recording
can only be continued in the start direction previously selected.
