10.3 Aufnahme- Wiedergabe- Loschkopf, LW 3.1, (Rotating head
_Laufwerk B, Abb. 20, 21 aund 21 b)
Das Laufwerk B verfiigt Uber eine Autoreverse-Einrichtung, die
es erméglicht, beide Cassettenseiten im Dauerbetrieb abzu-
spielen ohne daB die Cassetten gedreht werden miissen, siehe
auch Merkmale des CCF 5300.
Der AW-L Kopf ist auf eine Drehplatte montiert, die sich je nach

mitgenommen

Die Bandlaufeinstellung geschieht nach Pkt. 11, beschrieben
im >Mechanischen Teil<, und die Aufnatime- Wiedergabe- L-
Kopfspalt-Senkrechtstellung (Azimut) nach Pkt.5 dieses Ma-
nuals.
10.3 Record- playback- erase head LW 3.1, (Rotating head, drive
mechanism B, Fig. 20, 21 a and 21 b)-
The drive mechanism B features an auto reverse made: see
features of CCF 5300.
The record- playback- erase head is
mounted on a rotating plate which turns by 180° in vertical
direction according to the <j/[>
direction of the tape and at
the end of tape in reverse _~*
continuos reverse C[™)
modes.

- Pull the record- playback.- erase head connector out of the
bearing of the motor fixing plate.
- Remove the cable clip LW 10
- Undo the two head screws r. Note the position of the direction
reversing lever u when fitting the head holder with rotating plate
LW 3.2 in drive mechanism CMAY 222 because this lever u
must engage with the slider.
- Resolder the cables from the RP-E-head
The tape run is adjusted according to point 11 in the >Mechani-
cal Section< and the adjustment of vertical R/P- L-head gap
position (Azimuth) is described under cpm 5 of the >Electrical
Section<.

11.1 Bandlaufeinstellung Laufwerk A
Wiedergabekopf LW 3.1
Die Bandfiihrungshéhe des Wiedergabekopfes
ist nicht ein-
stellbar. Eingestellt wird die Kopfspalt-Senkrechtstellung (Azi-
mut), beschrieben im >Elektrischen Teil<, Pkt. 5 des Manuals.
Dummykopf LW 3.2
Der Bandlauf (Bandfihrungshohe) ist mit der Kopflehre - 401
einzustellen.

11. Tape drive adjustment
Tape drive adjustment with the head gauge 401
(Part no. 72008-401.00,
Fig: 19, 20,21a
22 and 23) anda
tape drive cassette (i. €. tape run test cassette MC - 112C,
Part no. 72008-247.00). Ensure that head gauge is laid on
correctly, (Fig. 23). The tape drive adjustment is necessary _
after a change of the play (reproduction) head LW 3.1, the
dummy head LW 3.2 (drive mechanism A, CMAY 622) and
the recording- play- erase-head (rotating head) LW 3. 1 (drive
mechanism B, CMAY 222). _
- Remove the cabinet, point 1
- Disassemble the drive mechanism A or B, point 4
11.1 Tape drive adjustment in drive mechanism AU
Playback head LW 3.1
:
The height of the tape guide on the play head is not adjust-
able. Instead, the vertical position of the head gap (Azimuth)
is adjusted as described in the >Electrical Section<, point 5 in
the manual.
