R922:
ca 30° vor Rechtsanschlag.
Abgleich des VCO
Einstellung des Laserarbeitspunktes
Gleichspannungsmillivoltmeter an MeBpunkt M2 (kalt) und M1 (hei)
auf der Servoplatte anschlieBen.
Philips Testplatte 5 (4822 397 30096) einlegen.

Einstellung des Focusarbeitspunktes
Gleichspannungs-Millivoltmeter an M3 (heiB) und M4 (kalt) auf der
Position of test points
The test points are arranged in pairs in the form of pin contact
bases. M1/M2 and M3/M4 are located on the side of the servo
board facing the rear panel behind the controls R 922 and R 927.
For connecting and adjusting the controls and test points access is
possible from above through the holder of the loading unit.
The test points M9 and M10 are located on the digital board next to
the coil L401 (2-pin contact base).
Laser alignment
Preparation
Ensure that the lens in the optical scanning system and the CD Test
disc to be used is free from dust, dirt and finger prints. On no account
should damaged discs, maybe by scratches or other deformations, be
used.
if the controls R922 and R927 were not adjusted whilst the disc was
being checked, the following mechanical settings should be made:
Adjustment of VCO
Connect a DC Voltage meter to test point M9 (GND) and M10 (hot) on
the digital board. With L401 set a voltage of + 5,6V.
Adjustment of the Laser Working point

(hot) on the Servo Panel.
Use a Philips Test Disc 5 (4822 397 30096)
Adjustment
Start the unitand playback TRACK6
on the Test Disc. With the control
R922 set a voltage of -5OmV + 10mV.
Adjusting the Focus Working point
Connect a DC Voltmeter to M3 (hot) and M4 (cold) on the Servo Panel.
Start the unit and playback TRACK 6. Adjust control R927 for
+ 450mV + 10%.
