Replacing the sole on the sewing foot
Caution Risk of Injury!
Arrest the sewing feet in the raised position and then turn off the main
switch.
Order no. Teflon foot 0196 104208
steel foot
–
Press spring 1 down and pull the sole 3 off sideways.
–
Push the new sole on until spring 1 catches again.
Setting the sole on the sewing foot
Caution Risk of Injury!
Lower the sewing feet onto the needle plate and then turn off the main
switch.

Turn the handwheel until the intermittent feed an sole 3 lay onto
the needle plate.
–
Loosen screw 6 and turn eccentric 2 so that the sole lies inclined
approx. 2°.
–
Tighten screw 6.
Replacing the teflon plate 5 (lint guard) on the needle plate
–
Remove needle plate 4 and replace the teflon plate.
–
Screw on needle plate 4 and lower the upper knife. The upper knife
cuts its own way free through the teflon plate.
