of the machinery glass and check the fit of the
flange if the mounting was performed with adhe-
sive. Refit the housing, making sure that the seal-
ing ring is pressed evenly against the disc.
The rotating disc is dirty or has water deposits
such that it is no longer possible to see through
it.
As a wear part, the rotating disc can quickly be
replaced. Disconnect the system from the power
supply and remove the rotor after it has coasted
down. Depending on how dirty it is, clean the sur-
face with a glass scraper and then use e.g. clean-
er for ceramic hobs or glass cleaner for polishing.
Replace the rotor and switch on the power.
If you notice that the pane is very dirty due to al-
uminium chips or the machining of grey cast iron,
you can keep a cleaned disc on hand for swapping
it out.
The rotating disc has been hit by flying debris
and splintered.
Obtain a new rotor and install it. We recommend
keeping a spare disc on hand for quick replace-
ment. If the machine is to be operated in the
meantime, protect Rotoclear S3 such that it is safe
from damage by chips and cooling lubricant.
