We are pleased that your choice fell on a HNF-NICOLAI pedelec. You have chosen a
high-quality vehicle and we are convinced that you will enjoy your pedelec for many
years to come.

Intended use
The HNF-NICOLAI CD2 is intended for transporting one person as well as children
in the Kidsbox provided for this purpose on asphalted roads, paved forest and field
paths.
The maximum load on the CD2 is 150 kg on the loading area, the luggage rack and
the front box can each carry 25 kg. The maximum rider weight is 100 kg.
As the CD2 Cargo is a multi-track vehicle, the following applies in deviation from the
single-track bicycle
Compulsory cycle paths (blue cycle path symbol) do not have to be used if they are
„unreasonable". Reasons for this can be, for example, paths that are too narrow or a
poor surface condition.
The CD2 Cargo is not designed for the following:
•
Race/competition use
•
Cleaning with a water jet
•
Charging of the battery outdoors in wet conditions
•
Use of a trailer
Intended use is further limited by:
•
the safety information in this manual
•
the "Technical specifications" chapter in this manual
•
the road traffic regulations valid for the respective country of use
(Germany: StVO)
•
the road traffic licensing regulations valid for the respective country of use
(Germany: StVZO)
