Exchange of sensor unit on Deltabar S PMD70

Before de-installation, it has to be made sure that the supply voltage for the device is switched off

Dismantle instrument, disassemble sensor unit
1 Unscrew lid from terminal compartment, disconnect cable from terminal, uninstall instrument.
Unscrew lid from electronic compartment.

If installed remove display from electronic module:
• software version 1.x
remove display from holder by pressing the hooks outwards, unscrew both screws and remove holder.

• software version 2.x
remove display from electronics-module by pressing the hooks outwards.

Unplug the display cable from electronic module.

Loosen mounting screws at electronic module and pull module out of the housing, plug connection!
Separation of housing and sensor unit
6 Loosen set screw about 1-2 turns.

Clamp housing in a vice, take care not to damage the housing. Screw off the sensor unit counterclockwise from housing (9 turns);
it is not easy to unscrew the housing because the retaining ring is blocking - it has to be exchanged afterwards.
Attention: Take care not to damage the sensor cable!

• Vice
• Philips screw driver size 1
• Allen wrench AF2
• open ended or ring spanner AF17
• Torque wrench 30 Nm
