"Fitness"
In the "Fitness" operating mode, you have
access to a range of information about your per-
formance. The training effect is calculated by the
activity level recorded in the registration.
If you have a heart rate monitor connected to the
Nyon via Bluetooth, you will be able to check your
heart rate.

* When using a chest strap to measure heart rate (chest
strap not supplied), the current heart rate is displayed
instead of performance.
"Settings"
In the "Settings" operating mode, you can
specify the basic settings desired for your on-
board computer:
• Connections: Here you can configure a
smartphone or WiFi link, Bluetooth settings or
a heart-rate monitor.
• My eBike: If the Nyon is in its holder, you can
change the preset value for your FLYER e-
bike's wheel size by +/- 5.
• Country settings: Here you can select the
language to be used, the time zone, whether
the time is displayed in 12 or 24 hour format
and whether speed and distance are to be
shown in kilometres or miles. The time is auto-
matically updated through the GPS signal.
• Map & Navigation: configures map display
and switches on automatic adjustment of dis-
play in response to surrounding lighting condi-
tions.
• Brightness: Adjusts display brightness
• My Nyon: Here, among other things, you can
set up a new user profile, configure the Home
button, set certain counters to 0 or reset Nyon
to its factory settings.

The status displays may vary depending on the
operating mode currently in use.
Set support modes
You can set the level of support using operating
unit 12 (ill. page 9). The following levels are avail-
able (the selection may be restricted, depending
on the version).
• OFF: No motor support; you are pedalling your
FLYER like a normal cycle. All on-board com-
puter functions can be called up.
• ECO: Effective electrical support with maxi-
mum efficiency to achieve maximum range.
• TOUR: Even support for touring over a wide
range.
• SPORT: Powerful, direct support for sporty rid-
ing off-road and in urban traffic.
• TURBO: Maximum support level for sporty rid-
ing up to high pedalling cadences.
Use the "+" button on operating unit 12 (Ill. page
9) to switch to the next higher support level, and
the "-" button to move down to a lower level. Hold
the button down until you are in the desired sup-
port level.
