If you use unusual, high strength, for example, a
second hand is required, the switch on the

6.7.3 Lock out

To prevent unauthorized switching, the
explosion- protected main-, load- and safety
switch can be locked in the „OFF" position by
means of 3 padlocks, (shackle diameter of the
padlocks up to 7 - 8 mm).
- Turn the outer ring clockwise until the ports
are free (Figure 4 B)
- Hold on the outer ring (Figure 4 C - D).
- Use your second hand to fx the padlock.
7 Maintenance/Servicing
Observe the national regulations applicable to
the maintenance, servicing and test of electrical
apparatus as well as the general rules of
engineering (e.g. IEC/EN 60079-17)!
Within the scope of the maintenance /
inspection, parts on which the type of
protection depends must be checked for
damage in particular.
Before opening the enclosure make sure that
the apparatus is disconnected from the voltage,
or take the appropriate protective measures.
The required maintenance intervals are set
according to their application and should
therefore be determined depending on the
conditions of use.
Information on the safe use of third-party
products, unless non specified in these
operating instructions, have to be requested
from the respective manufacturer of the
equipment.
Information on maintenance / servicing of
foreign products is to be taken from the
currently valid manual of the respective
manufacturer´s equipment.
During maintenance, the dust layer must be
removed from the distribution board.
All screw points should be checked for
tightness.
If during servicing repairs prove to be
necessary, section 8 of these operating
instructions will have to be observed.
8 Repairs / Overhaul /
Modification
Maintenance / repair work must be performed
only by skilled and trained personnel using
spare parts identical or comparable to the
original parts.
Repairs that affect the explosion protection,
may only be carried out by
Cooper Crouse- Hinds/CEAG or a qualified
electrician in compliance with the applicable
national rules (IEC/EN 60079-19).
Modifications to the device or changes to its
design are not permitted.
9 Disposal/Recycling
When the apparatus is disposed of, the
respective national regulations on waste
disposal will have to be observed.
Subject to modifications or supplement of the
product range.
