throttle lock is engaged.
7. Hold the equipment firmly with one
hand on the top shaft tube (10). With
the other hand, pull the starter cable
several times on the starter handle (3)
until the engine starts.
Caution! Do not pull the starter ca-
ble out too far – risk of breaking!
8. Allow a cold motor to warm up for ap-
prox. 10 seconds then set the choke
lever (4) to the "warm start" position.
9. If the equipment does not start, repeat
stages 3 to 5.
10. Attach the equipment to the carry-
ing strap that has been put on (see
chapter on "Putting on the Carrying
Strap").
11. To mow, hold the throttle lock (41) de-
pressed and operate the throttle (42).
12. To switch off the engine, set the on/off
switch (40) 0 .

es, the working height should be at
least 15 cm. This prevents the risk to
