It can be used for pooling up to 8 solar-module strings at the input, and dividing them up
functioning
into one DC+ and one DC- main lead each at the output.
In between the solar module (= input) and inverter (= output), there is a DC isolator with
a load-switching capability. The DC isolator makes it posssible to isolate the inverter so
that it is electrically dead. The DC isolator is suitable for a maximum open-circuit voltage
of 530 V DC.
Inverter
The DC isolating box 40/60 is specially designed for operation with the following
inverters:

These inverters have an integral overvoltage protector on the DC input side. There is no
need for any surge-voltage protectors in the DC isolating box 40/60.

NOTE! It may well be dangerous to use other inverters, as these may not have
the integral overvoltage protection on the DC input side!
The DC isolating box 40/60 is designed to
be used in grid-connected photovoltaic
installations that have several strings of
solar modules. The isolating box isolates
the inverter so that it is electrically dead.
