ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The installation should be carried out by
an authorised electrician in compliance
with national regulations.
The mains leads to the connection point
must be approved for installation of a
sauna and correspond to the data in the
figures.
FIG. 7
The mains leads must have the same
cross-sectional wire area as the wires in
the sauna unit. The mains installation in
the sauna must comply with local
regulations for electrical safety.
The junction box should not be placed
more than 500 mm over the floor.
SAUNA STONES
Rinse any dust off the sauna stones before
putting them on the sauna unit.
The largest stones should be placed on
the bottom.
Stack the stones so that air can move
freely between them and the heat is
released freely and uniformly from the
heater element.
Remove stones that crack or crumble,
otherwise there is a risk of damaging the
heater element.
A suitable diameter of the stones is 3 to 8
cm.
IMPORTANT:
Only use stones of the best quality that can
withstand the hot temperature of the sauna
unit.
TEMPERATURE SETTING
The thermostat (figure 1) maintains the set
temperature. The sauna unit heats the sauna
to the required temperature in
30 - 60 minutes, depending on the size of the
sauna. The 3-phase thermostat maintains a
uniform and comfortable temperature in the
sauna.
POWER SWITCH
Switch off the sauna unit with the power switch
before leaving the sauna.
VENTILATION
Ensure good ventilation. A correctly
installed ventilation system ensures a
comfortable atmosphere and saves energy.
The fresh air inlet should be placed in the
wall, near the bottom edge of the
product, and should have a diameter of at
least 6 cm.
The exhaust air outlet should be placed
on the opposite wall, as far from the fresh
air inlet as possible, and should have a
diameter twice the size of the fresh air
inlet. The exhaust air outlet should be
placed below the bottom edge of the top
ledge.
NOTE:
The upper screws should be firmly tightened
and the gap between the screw heads and
the wall must be at least 3 mm.
MAINTENANCE
Pour only fresh water on the sauna
stones. Do not use water with chemical
additives, such as spa or pool water – this
will cause oxidation and damage the
heater.
Clean the outside of the heater when
necessary when it is cold with a damp
cloth.
Maintenance should only be carried out
by an authorised electrician. Contact the
retailer in the event of any technical
problems.
Switch off the power supply before
maintenance.
Test the sauna unit after maintenance.
Check at regular intervals that no cables,
wires or other components are damaged
by moisture – risk of electric shock.
