DMX512 control
Note: To connect multiple devices in series, please use the supplied Y-XLR adapter cable. (See chapter
Accessories).
DMX connection for multiple devices via supplied Y-XLR adapter cable (see graphic):
A DMX512 data link is required in order to control the device via DMX. The device provides a 3-pin XLR connector
for DMX connection.

Connect the output of your controller to the M-plug of the adapter cable.

Connect the F-socket of the Y-XLR adapter cable to the first device. Another Y-XLR adapter cable (M-plug)
can be attached to the second F-socket.

In this way, you can connect the devices in the chain until all devices are connected.

At the last unit, the DMX cable has to be terminated. Plug the terminator with a 120 Ω resistor between
Signal (–) and Signal (+) in the DMX output of the last unit.

If the cable length exceeds 300 m or the number of DMX devices is greater than 32, it is recommended to
insert a DMX level amplifier to ensure proper data transmission.

Note: When not in use, make absolutely sure to close the connection with the rubber sealing cap on the device to
prevent moisture and dirt from penetrating.
