This power supply box complies with the
requirements for medical devices and is
specific for your lamp, it should not be used
with other equipment.
- The mains plug acts as a power disconnect
switch. The device must be used with the
mains plug easily accessible.
- This lamp must not be used by children or
people with reduced physical or intellectual
capacities.
- Any modification of the device is prohibited.
- The device must not be used if the power
cable and / or the power supply unit are
apparently damaged or defective.
- The lamp needs special precautions, it can be
installed in all premises including domestic
premises and away from HF sources where the
intensity of electromagnetic interference is
high.
- Do not use this device next to other devices
or stacked with them because this may cause a
malfunction. If this use is necessary, this
device and other devices should be observed
to verify normal operation.
- Portable RF communications equipment
(including peripherals such as antenna cables
and external antennas) should not be used
closer than 30 cm (12 inches) from any part of
the DAYVIA lamp. Otherwise, the performance
of these devices could be impaired.
PRECAUTIONS
The light therapy lamp must be used in an
environment normally lit by another light
source to avoid too much contrast between
the lamp and its environment, the lamp is
complementary to normal lighting (electric or
natural light).
Unlike daylight or other lamps on the market,
this medical light therapy device does not emit
UV rays.
Studies have shown that light therapy can be
performed safely (for comparison, your light
therapy lamp diffuses either an intense bluish
white light up to 10,000 lux or a specific
predominantly blue light, while on a beach, in
summer, the illumination can reach up to
100,000 lux with the addition of harmful rays
such as UV which your lamp does not have).
However, before starting your treatment,
please consult your doctor if:
- You suffer or have suffered from depression
- You are very sensitive to light
- You suffer from eye disease
- You suffer from mental disorders
-You are undergoing
psychotropic or photosensitizing drugs.
If you have any problems (ex headache or eye
strain) after using the light therapy lamp
please tell your doctor.
