How to access the programming function
"The 'ENGINEER' programming functions can be performed
!
regardless of the position of the dip-switches by using
the'ENGINEER' key"
To access the programming function place the ENGINEER key on the
reader (53).
The machine will issue an audio signal (repeated every 10 seconds)
and the following message will be shown on the display:
To close the programming phase, place the ENGINEER key on the
readout (53) and the following will be shown on the display:
"If the key is lost , the ENGINEER programming operations can be performed by positioning dip-switch 2=ON, dip-switches 1-3-4=OFF
and maintaining the PROG (35) key pressed down until the machine issues an audio signal (repeated every 10 seconds) and the

message 'ENGINEER' is be shown on the display. To exit the programming functions, keep the PROG (35) key pressed down and the
message 'boiler pressure' is displayed again. Once the operations have been completed, replace the dip-switches to their original
positions."

Each time the PROG (35) key is pressed during the programming
phase, a new menu is displayed. The chronological order of the
messages is as follows:
When one of the dose delivery keys is kept pressed down, the
selection number is displayed and the programming of the dose is
memorized.
By programming a key from the first group on the right , that dose
will be recorded on the equivalent keys of the other delivery groups
(in case "cappuccino function NO". Has been chosed
In the case of "cappuccino function YES", by programming the keys
on the group on the right, the dose will be recorded on the equivalent
keys of the other delivery groups, but not on those of the group on
the right (cappuccino group) which will be programmed under "user
dose".
When one of the dose delivery keys is pressed (water, coffee,
cappuccino or milk), the number of the selection and the number of
pulses (coffee doses) or time of distribution (water, milk) is displayed.
The above parameters can be changed using the "+" (72) or "-" (73
keys,
If the previously pressed key (identificable by the flashing led) is
pressed again and kept pressed down, the programming is
memorized.
By programming the delivery keys on the group on the right, with the
cappuccino function activated press key
"milk dose" (distribution time) and "start milk" (delay in the distri-
bution of milk with respect to the coffee) will be displayed. Follow
the previous procedure if variations are required.
Using the "+" (72) and "-" (73) keys, change the pressure until the
required value is obtained.
