1. Turn unit off and unplug the power cord from both the wall outlet and the
Quantum 2000 Light Source.
2. Remove the lamp access door from the bottom of the Quantum 2000
Light Source by loosening the thumbscrew and gently lifting the door
open. Leaving the wires attached, gently lay door aside to gain access
to the lamp.
4. Remove the lamp from the holding
spring assembly by firmly grasping
the ceramic lamp base and pulling
the lamp gently toward the rear.
While pulling back, slide the lamp
up and over the tension spring and
out of the light source.
3. Disconnect the lamp connector
assembly by pulling back on the
black connector.
