Application example
Both devices have two redundant IPTV sources, one connected to the IPTV IN1 port, and one connected to the IPTV IN2 port. The
connection to the Conditional Access Simulcrypt server is implemented via the CAS port.
The Control port is used as a configuration interface on the one hand and for the monitoring of the backup unit on the other.
The programs scrambled in the headend can be descrambled by connected subscribers with suitable CA modules/smart cards.
