Searching for track names
- Press the button 0 / AMS (10) twice until A******* appears on the display (5).
- Turn the button volume control/dial control (2) to select the first letter.
- Press the volume control/selection dial (2) for confirmation; the second letter blinks.
- Select the additional letters as described above. You have to select at least three letters to enable a clear search.
- Press the button
- If several tracks with the entered letters are found, they are shown on the display (5).
- Turn the volume control/selection dial (2) to select the track.
- Press the button
back automatically.

If no track with the entered letters are found, the display (5) shows NO MATCH.
Searching for directory names
- Press the button 0 / AMS (10) three times.
- Turn the volume control/selection dial (2) to select the directory name.
- Press the button
directory is played back automatically.
• Display of the ID3 tag information
During playback, the ID3 tag information like title, artist, album, etc. appears in running letters on the display (5).

This information can only be displayed if the ID3 tag data is available on the CD in version 1.0 or 2.0.
• Operation with mixed-mode CDs
Mixed-mode CDs (CDs with both CD audio files as well as MP3 files) can be played back with this CD tuner.
In this case, playback starts with the MP3 files followed by the CD audio files.
