ATTENTION! Circuit breaker must be integrated into the standard wiring system to guarantee safe
mounting and usage of your electric motor. Means for disconnecting from the mains supply need to have
separation between contacts in all poles and need to provide complete disconnection under overvoltage
conditions of category III.
ATTENTION! When mounting, do not hammer your electric motor into the roll tube. Do not drill or screw
into the roll tube along the whole length of the tubular motor. When choosing the length of fasteners
(such as screws, rivets, etc.), ensure no contact between such elements and the body of the electric motor
after the mounting. The fasteners should not obstruct the mounting of the motor.
If the power cord is damaged, in order to avoid danger, it must be replaced by the Supplier only.
The power cable must remain downward directed after the mounting, or it can be fixed as a downward directed loop to keep
condensation (water) away from your electric motor.
ATTENTION! Your electrical network must be grounded for safety reasons. Do not install your electric
motor if the section of electrical network which you connect the electric motor to is not equipped with
protective devices that fully comply with local legal acts and regulations. The distance between terminals
inside the circuit breaker must be at least 3mm.
For safety reasons, we urge you to follow all the instructions provided in this Operation Manual. Incorrect mounting of the
electric motor may cause critical injuries to humans and animals and cause harm to property.
Unauthorized modification of the electric motors, as well as improper use of any of these products, are strictly prohibited.
Intended use includes adherence to the prescribed operating rules in this Operating Manual and local legal regulations.
4. PROGRAMMING OF RADIO REMOTE CONTROLS
For remote control of the motors, only the following ALUTECH radio remote controls are used: АТ-1, АТ-1S, АТ-4N, AT5/RT,
AT5S/RT, АТ-15, АТ-15S and their ilk.
Remote Control AT-4N
Operation mode of a null channel of the AT-15, AT-15S and other multichannel remote controls.
The null channel cannot be entered separately into the motor memory. When opening or closing with the null
channel, the control is carried out by all motors in whose memory the channels of the existing remote control
are entered.
Motors of are controlled only in the "shutter" mode – the motor is controlled by three keys that open, close and stop the
motor respectively. For convenient installation of the curtain in the intermediate limit position (see section 5.2), press and
hold the "■" key for 5 seconds.
To record remote controls, you need to be in close proximity to the motor (no more than 2 meters) to which you want to
register this remote control. All other electric drives that are not meant to be tuned need to be switched off from the
power supply.
4.1 Recording of the first radio remote control
ATTENTION! In case of recording of the second radio remote control into the motor memory, all previously
recorded remote controls are deleted from the motor memory.
• Connect the motor to be programmed to the supply mains (prior to that it should be disconnected from the supply
mains). It is possible to record a remote control within the first 10 sec. after connecting the motor to the supply mains.
• Press 2 times "P2" key (each key press should be followed by a short beep sound), then press "▲" key to open roller
shutters (key for closing and stopping are assigned automatically). After that 5 short beep sounds will be heard and the
motor will make a short reverse movement.
Recording of the first remote control is completed (keys for the roller shutter closing and stop are assigned automatically).
