Faults
Vibration of the pointer. Vibrations in the application.
Mechanical damage
(e.g. window, case).
For the replacement of the instrument, observe chapter 8 "Disassem-
bly, return and disposal" and 5 "Commissioning, operation".
Optical changes without restriction of the function
If the instrument is exposed to intensive UV radiation, the colouring
of the dial printing may change.
Shocks can cause small bubbles to form in the fill fluid of filled
instruments.

7. Maintenance and cleaning

Personnel: Skilled personnel
7.1 Maintenance
The instruments are maintenance-free.

The indication should be checked once or twice every year. For
„
this, disconnect the instrument from the process and check it with
a pressure test device. For filled instruments, the level must be
checked once or twice every year. The liquid level must not drop
below 75 % of the instrument diameter.
Repairs should only be carried out by the manufacturer or, follow-
„
ing prior consultation with the manufacturer, by correspondingly
qualified skilled personnel.
After exceeding requirements per EN 837-1, check the instrument for
correct function and replace it if necessary.
