5.6 Commissioning and operation

Open the vent valve for pressure compensation and leave it open
during the measurement in order to ensure a correct pressure
display. The model PG43SA-S with vent valve has no vent hole.
5.7 External zero point setting
External zero point setting is not available for the model PG43SA-S
with vent valve.
5.8 Autoclaving
The following is valid only for the model PG43SA-S with the
option "Autoclavable version", identifiable through the dial marking
"AUTOCLAVABLE".
To carry out the autoclaving process correctly, the vent valve must be
open.

7. Maintenance and cleaning

7.2 Cleaning
For any external cleaning ("wash-down"), e.g. in a cabinet washer,
the vent valve must be closed. This is needed in order to prevent
the cleaning agent finding its way into the case interior.
