Please observe the following installation instructions:
1.) Install in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and the valid standards and regulations.
- Do not operate the level sensor outside of the electrical, thermal and mechanical parameters
2.) The intrinsically-safe input power circuit of the Levelflex M is isolated from ground potential and has a dielectric strength of
at least 500 Vrms with respect to it.
3.) The relationship between the permitted ambient temperature for the electronics housing, dependent on the range of
application, and the temperature classes is shown in the tables (Tab. 1 and Tab. 3).
4.) After aligning (rotating) the housing, retighten the fixing screw (see Operating Instructions).
5.) Use connecting cable for continuous duty temperature ≥ Ta + 5 K
6.) Install the device to exclude any mechanical damage or friction during the application. Pay particular attention to flow
conditions and fittings.
6.1 The instrument is designed for operation in zone 22 or zone 1 (housing) and zone 20 or zone 0 (process connection);
Suitability for simultaneous presence of explosion hazardous gas- air and gas-dust mixtures requires a separate enquiry.
