17. Disposal

a) General information
Electric and electronic devices must not be disposed of in the household waste.
Please dispose of the inoperative product in accordance with the current legal regulations.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable
batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited!

Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the following symbols,
which indicate that it is not permitted to dispose of them in the household waste.
The heavy metals concerned are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (the name is indicated on the
battery/rechargeable battery, e.g. below the waste can icon depicted on the left).

You can return your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the official collection points
of your community, in our stores, or everywhere else where batteries or rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

We, Conrad Electronic, Klaus-Conrad-Straße 1, -92240 Hirschau, hereby declare that this product adheres to the
fundamental requirements and other relevant regulations of the directive 1999/5/EG.

