Use a drill bit of 5 mm diameter to drill from the
screw side through the plastic to the drilled hole
in the metal. Then mark the corresponding
points on the decorative door.
Again remove the screws of the decorative door
of the IK 300.
Use a cup drill (8 mm diameter), to drill out the
marked points to a depth of approx. 11 mm in
the decorative door.
Place the metal plate 16 on the decorative door
in such a way that the press-in nut fits in the
countersunk hole, as illustrated in Fig. 17.
Then screw the metal plate 16 onto the decorativ
door, using the three countersunk screws
provided.
Note:
The screw heads must project above the surface!
Now secure the decorative door to the refrige-
rator door again.
Screw the enclosed screws 17 (M 4 x 35) into the
metal door.
Fill the gap between the metal door and the
decorative door with the enclosed washers
(four at most).
The washers are designed for later adjustment,
e.g. if the refrigerator door bulges.
The locknuts and the screws can now also be
tightened firmly. Subsequently fit the three caps
18, as shown in Fig. 18.
Note:
Please check that the white caps 18, as
illustrated in Fig. 18, have been fitted to the
appliance doors.
Warning:
These three caps must be fitted, otherwise the
appliance will NOT function.

Installing the Base Panel

Both the height and the depth of the base panel
of the IK 300 can be adjusted to suit the existing
kitchen furniture.
