tors and 1 m of hose.
– The permissible water supply tempera-
tures then rises to 85 °C.
Upgrade kit - volume control
Order no. 2.643-899.0

umes back to the suction side of the
high pressure pump.
– Flow switch installed in on-board pipe-
line. Connection: 3/4" inner thread.
Upgrade kit - star delta startup

cians!

Installation
DANGER
Risk of injury due to system toppling over.
The system must be installed on an even
and hard surface. In order to prevent the
system from sliding on floors with a gradi-
ent, the upgrade kit for floor fixation (order
no. 2.638-320.0) can be used.
– The system should only be set-up in a
dry, non-explosive environment.
– The system should be installed to be
easily accessible for maintenance
work. Using the 140 mm support legs
facilitates the maintenance process.
– The room temperature at the installa-
tion site should not exceed 40 °C.
– A water drain must be present at instal-
lation site.
Assembly
ATTENTION
Always keep the installation site of the sys-
tem well ventilated to protect the machine
against over-heating.
– The appliance should not be directly at-
tached to the network of water and high
pressure pipes. It is mandatory to install
the connecting hoses.
– A shut-off tap must be installed be-
tween the main water supply and the
connecting hose.

Installing the high pressure
connections
For installation, please follow the specifica-
tions of the VDMA sheet 24416 "High pres-
sure cleaners; fixed high pressure cleaning
systems; concepts, requirements, installa-
tion, testing" (the German version can be
procured from Beuth Verlag, Cologne,
www.beuth.de).
– The pressure loss in the pipe connec-
tions must lie below 1.5 MPa.
– The completed pipe connections must
be checked using 24 MPa.
– The insulation of the pipes must be re-
sistant to temperatures until 100 °C.
– The fixed pipe network should be
placed as straight as possible. High
pressure piping systems should be in-
stalled correctly with removable and
fixed clips, taking into consideration the
variation in length caused by the effects
of heat and pressure.
In order to keep pressure losses in the high
pressure piping as small as possible, we
recommend the following:
Flow rate
Piping
16.7 l/min
NW 10 (3/8")
(1000 l/h)
33.3 l/min
NW 15 (1/2")
(2000 l/h)
50 l/min
NW 15 (1/2")
(3000 l/h)
66.7 l/min
NW 20 (3/4")
(4000 l/h)
83.3 l/min
NW 20 (3/4")
(5000 l/h)
100 l/min
NW 25 (1")
(6000 l/h)
In regards to the above mentioned stand-
ard values, the length of the pipes and the
number of direction changes and fittings
must be taken into account.
