e) Operation mode Media Center
The media center allows you to play music that is stored in a shared device in your network.
The device to be used for this type of playback must be in the same network as the internet radio and the
corresponding files must permit shared access.
Playback
The device supports UPnP and is DLNA-compatible.
This provides the opportunity to stream music from your network. However, this requires you to have a
compatible device in your network that can function as a server. This can be e.g., a network hard drive or a
conventional PC with e.g., Windows
You can find further details on this in the help section or corresponding documentation for your device.
• Press the MENU (7) button or button
buttons (16) the menu point "MEDIA CENTRE".
• Press the rotary dial (8) or the OK button (26) to confirm the selection.
• Choose the menu point "UPnP" and press the rotary dial (8) or the OK button (26) to confirm.
The menu point UPnP can also be reached directly via the MODE button (19).
• The device searches automatically for compatible devices in the network and shows these in a list.
• Choose the desired device and press the rotary dial (8) or the OK button (26) to confirm.
• The server's menu will now appear. The folders and categories that appear will depend on which server is available.
Navigate through the lists and start playing the desired titles by pressing the rotary dial (8) or the OK button (26).
• The selected title will play.
• Press the LEFT (5) or RIGHT (6) buttons to jump backwards or forwards by one title.
• Playback is also possible via buttons
• Press the LEFT (5) button to go back to the list and select another title.
Add title to playlist
• To add a just played or highlighted title to your playlist, hold down the rotary dial (8) until a small arrow appears top
left in the display.
• The tile is saved in the playlist.
The saved title is added to the end of your favourites list. Up to 99 titles can be stored in the favourites list.
The playlist is deleted when the device is switched off.
