VERTICAL APPLICATION
During the vertical application all functions are the same as in the horizontal mode.
Exception: slope setting
When the instrument is in the self-levelling mode the Z axis is self-levelling. With the buttons
laser line can be moved in the aligning axis.
In MAN mode the Z axis does not self-level. Press the button
setting of the X axis. Move the laser line with the buttons

again long to enter into the Y axis slope setting. Move the vertical laser plane with the buttons

Before vertical use, start the self-levelling procedure in the horizontal position, switch the instrument off
and then set the instrument in the vertical position.
HORIZONTAL FINE ADJUSTMENT BRACKET
With the horizontal fine adjustment bracket the instrument can be adjusted precisely on the tripod.Loosen
screw no. 13 and make a coarse adjustment of the plate by hand. Then set the instrument exactly using
screws nos. 14.
Fix screw no. 13 again when the fine adjustment is completed.
