SELF LEVELLING PROCEDURE / DISPLAY ILLUMINATION
If the TILT function is activated and the level is disturbed (rotation stopps) the self-levelling procedure can
be started from this position if required.
Press the button short.
Please check if the instrument has been disturbed.
Press the button long (2 sec.) to switch on / off the display illumination.

SLOPE SETTING

Press this button
is below the sign. Change the sign with the buttons
digit. Set the slope values with these buttons. Press the button
the button again long to select the slope setting of the Y axis. The slope setting of the Y axis is the
same as above. After 8 sec. without entry the instrument will automatically store the values set. For
confirmation the instrument will beep. Then, the TILT mode preparation will start (3 status).
USE OF THE TELESCOPIC VIEWFINDER
Aim the X-axis of the laser exactly in the direction of the
axis which has to be tilted with the help of the notch and
bead on the top cover. At larger distances please use the
telescopic viewer which can be mounted on top of the
instruments housing.
Look into the viewer from this side with a distance of
about 10 – 15 cm!
Please note: The telescopic viewer is used to align the
slope axis to the target.
SCANNING
Press this button to select the scan angle. Repeated pressing will switch the scan angle as follows:
10° -> 45° -> 90° -> 180° -> 0° -> 10°
Scanning right / left
With these buttons the scan direction is selected - according to the direction of the arrow.
Press short = slow movement
Press long = quick movement
Back to the rotation mode = press button 13.
