Switching the appliance on

and off

To
– switch on the exhaust hood, briefly push
the (17)
button.
You will hear a beep, and the buttons will
illuminate blue.
– switch off the exhaust hood, briefly push
the (17)
button.
You will hear a beep, and the button illumi-
nation will turn off.

Select power level

The fan is equipped with three power levels:
1 'slow', 2 'medium' and 3 'fast'.
After switching on the fan, it will operate at
the same power level that was last used. The
display (15) shows the current setting.
• In order to set the desired power level,
press the
(16) 'Microwave mode' sev-
eral times if required.
• Switch off the appliance if you do not
need to use the fan.

Lighting

Your exhaust hood is equipped with two LED
lights.
Lighting becomes available after switching on
the appliance. It can be switched on and off
independently of the fan operation.
• To switch the lighting on or off, press the

Switch-off delay

Your exhaust hood is equipped with switch-

off delay. It makes sure that the fan turns off
automatically after 9 minutes.
1. Switch on the appliance and change the
desired power level, if required.
2. Press the timer button (13)
The indicator lights up on the display 9.
The time display counts backwards by the
minute. After nine minutes have elapsed,
you will hear a beep and the appliance will
switch off.

Activated charcoal filter

• When using the appliance for air circula-
tion, only do so with activated charcoal
filters inserted.
• If neighbours complain about odours, it
may be a good idea to insert activated
charcoal filters for exhaust air operation,
too.
