DANGER
Risk of accident while working on the unit.
During all tasks
 First switch-on in voltage-less state,
switch off the emergency stop switch
and secure it against being switched on
again.
 Shut off water supply.
Fault Possible cause
Indicator Lamp Motor protection switch of the immersion
"Fault" illuminates pump has been triggered.
Float switch S15 in pump basin is defective Repair or replace float switch.
Recycled water tank is empty.
Message "Recycled Water level in the pump basin is too low and
water tank empty" emergency fresh water supply has failed

Who may remedy faults?
Operator

Work designated with the sign "Opera-
tor" may only be carried out by persons
who have been instructed in the safe
operation and maintenance on the
wash plant
Customer Service
–
Work designated with the sign "Cus-
tomer Service" may only be done by the
fitters of Kärcher Customer Service or
fitters who have been authorised by
Kärcher.
Remedy
Reset motor protection switch; call Customer Ser-
vice if the problem recurs.

Refill pump basin; check emergency fresh water
supply; repair, if required.
Restart the plant by switching off and on; other-
wise call Customer service
Backwash several times; if not successful,
change the gravel
Check all pipe connections; seal them, if required Operator, Cus-
Replace the float switch or reattach it
Check, repair or replace controls
Repair multi-channel valve; replace defective
parts
Turn the programme selector switch to the posi-
tion "Operation without conductivity monitoring or
"Operation with conductivity monitoring" and
press the SET key.
Check power supply and ensure proper supply.

Emptying and cleaning the basins
Use compatible detergents; rinse the system, if
necessary
Check detergent dosing; reset, if necessary
Replace water and rinse the basins
Check the gravel fill and refill if necessary.
Adjust the backwash throttle
WRP must be ON continuously
Turn the rotary switch of the circulation pump to
position "III".
Check if the circulation valve is open.
Check pipes for dirt and damage; clean or replace
them as required
Check the ventilation, the ventilator must clearly
bubble in the pump basin.
Check, repair or replace the concerned compo-
nent
