9. Application programs

9.1 Weighing and taring

Weighing

The terminal starts in weighing mode after being switched on.
Place the item to be weighed and read off the weight.
Weighing with tare
See point 7.3.
NET
An active tare weight is indicated by „NET" in the display.

9.2 Plus/minus weighing

Place the test or reference weight on the machine. Tare using the tare button.
Remove the test or reference weight from the scale and place it on the item to
be checked. Read off the deviation.
9.3 Weighing
After the container has been tared and the first component has been placed on
it the scale is set to zero by pressing the tare button again.
By repeating the procedure, further individual components can be weighed.
Multiple taring is possible within the entire weighing range.
Press the zero button to return to the gross display.
9.4 GLP protocol (only for terminal 3810)
The balance test and output of the GLP protocol is as follows:
A calibration test weight and a printer with the connection cable are required for
the test, the test weight should be at least 30% of the maximum load.
Press the SEND button and then the On/Off button for 5 seconds until UCAL 1
appears.
Press the SEND key to go to UCAL 1.
Reverse strokes with the function key to pos 23.
Use the SEND key to go to the input field for the test weight.
Use the tare button and function button to set the numerical value at the
flashing digit.
The decade changeover from right to left is done with the zeroing key.
