NOTES ON HANDLING BATTERIES
Remove batteries if they are flat or if you will not be using the product for a long time. This
will prevent damage that can result from leaks.
Batteries must not be charged or reactivated by any other means, taken apart, thrown into
fire or short-circuited. There is a RISK OF EXPLOSION!
Preferably use alkaline batteries as they have a longer lifespan than conventional zinc-
carbon batteries.
The battery needs to be changed as soon as the display fades or fades completely. Always
replace all old batteries with new ones and pay attention to the correct polarity when
inserting them.
NOTES ON ASSEMBLY
The assembly of the product must be carried out carefully and by an adult. If in doubt, seek
the help of another technically experienced person.
Before you start assembling the product, read the assembly steps carefully and look at the
construction drawing.
Remove all packaging material and then place the individual parts on a free surface. This
gives you an overview and makes assembly easier. Use a pad to protect the mounting
surface from soiling or scratching.
Now use the parts list to check whether all components are present. Do not dispose of the
packaging material until assembly is complete.
Note that there is always a possible risk of injury when using tools and doing manual work.
Therefore, proceed carefully when assembling the product.
Provide a safe working environment. Don't leave tools lying around.
After assembling the product, make sure that all screws, bolts, and nuts are properly
installed and tightened.
If necessary, place a protective mat (not included in the scope of delivery) under the product
to protect your floor, as it cannot be ruled out that rubber feet, for example, may leave traces.
