In case of malfunction or damage, electrolyte (battery fluid) may
leak from a battery. Contact with fluid leaking from a battery can
lead to burns.
– Do not handle leaking batteries with bare hands.
– Avoid contact with leaked battery fluid.
– In the event of contact with leaked battery fluid, immediately
rinse the area with clean water.
– Immediately consult a doctor if leaked battery fluid comes into
contact with the eyes.

If discharged batteries remain in the appliance for too long, the
electrolyte may leak out, causing damage to the scale.
– Rechargeable batteries should be charged regularly.

Improper storage can cause damage to the batteries.
– Remove the batteries from the appliance if you are not going to
use it for a long time.
– Store the batteries in a cool, dry place.
