Safety
– Do not throw the batteries into an open fire.
– Do not heat the batteries or carry out any welding or soldering
work near them.
– Do not expose batteries to unrestricted sunshine or heat.
– Do not allow the batteries to come into contact with water.
– Do not use the batteries if they are damaged.
– Prevent batteries from over-discharging.
– Stop using the scale if it is damaged or if the battery compartment
cover is bulging.
– Store batteries out of the reach of children. If you suspect that a
battery has been swallowed or has otherwise entered the body,
consult a physician immediately.
– Do not allow children to change the batteries without supervision.
– Always change the entire set of batteries. Never mix old and new
batteries or batteries with different charges. Replace all batteries
with new batteries of the same type and brand.
– If you are no longer able to securely close the battery compart-
ment in which the batteries are located, do not use the scale
anymore. Remove the batteries and store them in a location which
is inaccessible to children.
