Pyrolytic self-cleaning mode

Your appliance is equipped with a pyrolytic self-
cleaning mode, which allows you to clean the
cooking chamber effortlessly.
The cooking compartment is heated to a very
high temperature. Residues from roasting,
grilling and baking will burn and only the ash
remains have to be removed.
The temperature and operating time are factory-
set for this operating mode and cannot be
changed.

Notes:
• For your safety, the oven door is automatically locked
during the pyrolysis process and cannot be opened until
the appliance has cooled down to a safe temperature.
• The interior lighting remains switched off during
pyrolysis operation.
• For safety reasons, the control panel is also automati-
cally locked during pyrolysis operation.
If you then wish to start another heating mode, you
must first unlock it by pressing and holding the
for 3 seconds.

Risk of burns!
• The cooking compartment becomes extremely
hot during the pyrolysis process.
This also makes the appliance very hot from the
outside.
• Keep children, disabled and the elderly persons
without self-sufficiency away from the appliance.
• Never touch the appliance door or attempt to
open it.
• Allow the appliance to cool down before touching
it.
Risk of serious harm to health!
• During the extremely strong heating of the cooking
compartment during pyrolysis operation not only
deposits are burned but also vapours are released
which can irritate the mucous membranes.
Keep the kitchen well ventilated during pyro-
lytic mode and do not stay in the room for long
periods.
Keep children and pets away and always follow
the instructions given in the manual or by a
key
specialist.
• The coating of baking trays and tins are de-
stroyed by the extreme heat of the pyrolysis
process and harmful gases are produced.
Never clean baking trays, baking tins or other
accessories with the pyrolysis mode.
Risk of fire!
• Large amounts of food leftovers, fats or meat
juices can catch fire in pyrolytic mode.
Always remove large food residues from the coo-
king chamber before starting this function.
• Do not use pyrolytic mode to clean accessories.
• The appliance becomes very hot during pyrolysis
operation. Never hang flammable objects such
as dishcloths on the door handle or place objects
on the front of the appliance.
• In the case of a damaged door seal, very strong
heat is generated in the area around the door.
Never operate the appliance if the seal is dama-
ged or missing.
