Intended use
This manual is the basis for handling
the appliance.
Read and follow the instructions care-
fully before installing and operating the
appliance.
The manufacturer is not responsible for
any injury, damage or problems caused
by failure to follow the instructions, in-
correct installation or improper handling.
To avoid injury or damage and to ensure
trouble-free operation of the appliance,
follow the instructions below:
• Keep children under 8 years and pets
at a safe distance from the appliance
and its cord.
• Children aged 8 years and above, or
persons with reduced physical, senso-
ry or mental capabilities, lack of ex-
perience or knowledge, may only use,
clean or generally maintain this ap-
pliance if they are supervised or have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
• Make sure that children cannot play
with or on the appliance, its compo-
nents or near the appliance.
• The appliance is only intended for ins-
tallation in a kitchen furniture.
For installation, follow the instructions
in the corresponding chapter.
• The appliance is designed for private
use in a domestic environment and
is intended for preparing, heating and
keeping food and drinks warm.
Use it exclusively for its intended pur-
pose!
• The appliance is not intended for ope-
ration via a separate remote control or
operation via an external timer.
• When operating the appliance for the
first time, insulating materials and hea-
ting elements may cause a particular
smell and also light smoke.
This is normal and harmless.
In this case, let the appliance run emp-
ty until these have dissipated and then
wipe out the cooking chamber with a
damp cloth. You can then use the oven
to heat food.
• Unused appliances are a safety hazard.
Never leave the appliance switched on
unused and disconnect it from the po-
wer supply if you are not going to use it
for a long period of time.
