9. Press the On/Off button (6) to
switch on.
The On/Off button (6) lights up
red. Brewing begins.
10. Once the water has percolated
through, press the On/Off but-
ton (6) again to switch off the
appliance.
The light on the button goes
out.
11. Loosen the jug lid (9) from the
jug (8) by rotating it a quarter
turn.
12. Pour the water out of the
jug (8).

13. Repeat the process 1–2 more
times, allowing the coffee ma-
chine to cool for 5 minutes
each time.
14. Pull the mains plug (5) out of
the socket when you are not
using the appliance.
Instant emergency
shut-off
• Press the On/Off button (6),
and pull the mains plug (5) out
of the socket to switch off the
appliance in an emergency.
