5. Use the jug (8) to pour the cor-
rect quantity of fresh, cold tap
water into the water tank (3).
Never fill more water than the
top mark Max.
6. Close the jug (8) with the jug
lid (9).

7. Place the jug (8) on the hot-

plate (7).

8. Make sure that the jug lid

pushes the drip guard (11) on

the filter basket (1) upwards.

Making coffee
9. Close the lid (2) of the water
tank (3). It must click audibly
into place.
10. Insert the mains plug (5) into
a properly installed and easily
accessible socket.
11. Press the On/Off button (6) to
switch on the coffee machine.
The On/Off button (6) lights up
red. The water will be heated,
the coffee will be brewed and
will gradually flow into the pot.
