Heinzinger power supplies can be ordered with a digital interface for
communication. For all units with more than 100kV output voltage the
RS232 digital interface includes a fibre optic converter for safe and
failure-free data communication.
For all other power supplies the fibre optic converter is available optional.
This converter can be used for galvanic isolation at higher voltages and to
bridge long cable distances.
The fibre optic converter and the fibre optic cable can be ordered as a
spare part by the Heinzinger service department.
The fibre optic converter delivered with the unit works with RS232
interfaces only and is to fit on the RS232 interface card. Converters for
other digital interfaces are available by the Heinzinger service
department on request.
