The HV output is short circuit-proof.
DANGER, RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
The HV connector must never be connected nor disconnected
when the HV output is on.

Based on the output load, the following operating modes appear:

There is a risk of injury and damage to property from high
voltage and electrical energy during short circuits.
6 . 4 . 4 .
After pressing the HV button it lights up red, and the output voltage or current is
activated. A second press of the button disables the output and switches off the
output voltage and/or current; the HV button is no longer lit.
DANGER, RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Dangerous residual charges may exist at the HV connection for
up to one minute after shutdown.
