4 . 4 . S a f e t y c o n c e p t
Heinzinger PNC series power supply units may only be taken into operation and
operated by trained and qualified staff. The following safety features are as well
built in:
The unit output voltage is not activated by the mains switch. Rather the
operator has to press the HV button explicitly to switch the high voltage to the
unit's output. The HV button will now glow red.
The output can be switched off by remote control via the analogue interface.
Warning symbols are placed at the unit where required.
