3.3 Dismantling the exhalation system

1. Disconnect the exhalation system from the mask and from the
circuit.
2. To release the circuit connection from the mask connection,
squeeze the connecting clips together.
4 Hygiene treatment and disposal
Residues may block the exhalation system, impair it and jeopardize
the success of therapy.
 For patients with a compromised immune system or particular
background of illness, disinfect the exhalation system daily
following consultation with the physician.
