ON / OFF BUTTON (2)
Press this button to power on and off the unit. If the red LED (1) lights the instrument is powered on.
After powering on the instrument the self-levelling procedure starts automatically. Thereafter, the laser
will rotate with 800 rmp.
If in normal use the LED (1) flashes the battery has to be recharged.
ROTATING SPEED - INSTRUMENT BUTTON (3)
The instrument standardly rotates with max. speed (= 800 rpm). Press button (3) to change to 300 rpm.
ON / OFF REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTION - INSTRUMENT BUTTON (4)
With this button the remote control function can be powered off in order to avoid that several units on
one construction site disturb each other. If the remote control LED is illuminated it is the remote control
function is ready-to-receive.
LED REMOTE CONTROL - INSTRUMENT LED (9)
If the LED is illuminated the the remote control function is ready-to-receive.

TILT FUNCTION (7)

If the level of the instrument is disturbed it will re-adjust itself (within the self-levelling range of 5°).
If the level is disturbed at a large range (for example if a tripod leg has changed by mistake) a height
offset will be caused. This will be avoided by the TILT function. The instrument will shut off even within
the self-levelling range: Power on the unit, wait until the self-levelling procedure is completed.
In order to activate the TILT function press button (7). Now, if the laser is disturbed, the rotation stops
and the TILT LED will flash quickly. The laser will not re-level automatically. If required the

Slopes can be set up to ± 5° in X and Y direction.
Press button (10) to enter into this mode. To change between X and Y axis press button (10) again.
The LEDs (5) and (6) show the axis chosen. To tilt the axis chosen press buttons (11). To quit the slope
mode press button (10) again.
