Internal cleaning
Warning: The machine might emit some noises during the cleaning and water dispensing
process. Do not worry, it is something normal and does not indicate product malfunction.
Clean the device's internal conduits before the first use. To do so, follow the steps below:
Place the device on a stable and flat surface. Make sure the power outlet is easily
accessible.
Install the drip tray and place the cup holder tray on it.
Remove the water tank, fill it with water and install it back. Water must be filled between
the MIN and MAX mark.
Place a mug or cup on the gup holder tray. Make sure the steam switch and steam knob
are set to the off position.
Assemble the portafilter (see portafilter installation section) with the filter inside, but do
not introduce any coffee. Make sure it is properly locked into place.
Place the cup or mug under the coffee outlet nozzles.
Connect the device's power cord to a power supply.
Set the On/off switch to the on position and turn the device on. The power light indicator
will start blinking red and the machine will start heating. Once it has finished heating, the
red light will turn steady.
Slide the coffee switch upwards, the machine will start dispensing hot water. Slide it
downwards to stop water from coming out.
Once water has stopped being dispensed, remove the water tank, rinse it and clean the
mug or cup used. The coffee machine is now ready to use.
Note: If you want to carry out a more thorough cleaning cycle of the inside parts of the
device, use a 1:4 solution of vinegar and water, or use descaling product.

4. OPERATION

Filling the filter with coffee
Insert the filter in the portafilter.
Fill the filter with freshly ground coffee.
Make sure the coffee introduced does not exceed the filter's edge.
Use the measuring spoon and coffee press to press coffee down, add coffee if necessary
and press it down again.
