18. This appliance is not intended to be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory,
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way by a person
responsible for their safety, and understand the hazards involved.
19. Supervise young children to make sure that they do not play with the appliance. Close
supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children.

3. BEFORE USE

WARNING: Clean the product before the first use in order to remove production residues. (See
"Cleaning and maintenance" at the end of this instruction manual).
• Take the product out of the box and remove any packaging materials.
• Wipe down the device with a clean, soft dampened cloth.
• Rinse water tank (1), milk tank (9), portafilter (12), both filters, drip tray (10), cover (11) and spoon
with soapy water.
• Place the device on a flat, stable and safe surface.
• Completely unwind the mains cable and plug into a properly installed plug socket that is easily
accessible.
• Prepare a trial coffee with coffee powder in order to make sure all manufacturing residues
inside the water system are removed. Repeat this step 2 times.
WARNING: a slight odour and smoke might appear when operating the device for the first time. This is
due to manufacturing materials residues and does not affect the appliance's operating.

4. OPERATION

Drip tray
The drip tray is designed to collect the coffee which drips from the coffee outlet or the milk from
the milk tank's nozzle.
Note: always remove or insert the drip tray when the milk tank is not inserted in the device.
1. Place the removable grid (11) on the drip tray.
2. Use the guides on the bottom part of the device to slide the drip tray into its correct position.
Water tank
1. Open the water tank lid (1).
2. Take out the water tank (2) by the handle.
3. Pour water into the water tank without exceeding the MAX mark.
4. Reinsert the water tank and flip the handle down (Picture A). Make sure that the water tank
fits correctly.
5. Close the water tank lid.
