3 Cleaning/Maintenance

3.1 Care and cleaning in general

The parts of the Bullerjan
®
gas and the connection pieces must be cleaned in
the event of soiling, at least once during and after
the heating period. This can be done with an ash
vacuum.
The combustion chamber should be well cleaned
after the heating period. This can also be done
with an ash vacuum cleaner.

3.1.1 Cleaning of the viewing glass

The viewing glass can be cleaned well with a lint-
free rag and household glass cleaner. In addition,
special cleaners, available in retail stores, are
also suitable.
If necessary, the top holder of the glass can be
loosened and the glass can be pulled out.

3.1.2 Replacement of the viewing glass

Before inserting the replacement glass, check the
integrity of the sealing cord and if necessary
replace it.
When installing the replacement glass, you
should ensure that the holders are not tightly
connected so that the glass can still extend under
heat. The glass must still be able to move slightly!

Important! The viewing glass is made of a highly
heat-resistant glass ceramic. Please only replace
with the appropriate spare parts, available from us
or your specialised Bullerjan
3.1.3 Cleaning the air supply pipes (rear)
The internal air inlet pipes may never be clogged.
The supply air holes of the primary air normally
clean themselves due to the high flow speed of
the air. If the air s upply openings still should clog,
they can be vacuumed out with an ash vacuum in
the fire room.
If this is not sufficient, you can clean the pipes
from the back side of the stove. To do that, please
remove the covers on the back side of the stove.
