Ash catch tray
The ash catch tray is simply hung onto the bolts
under the door. Attaching the ash plate is not
necessary but can prevent embers/ashes from
falling onto the floor during operation.
1.4.2 Thermal safety covers steel
Alignment:
Upper slot
= vertical
Lower Slot
= horizontal
Screw the twelve spacing bolts, six on each stove
side, into the provided threaded openings on the
sides of the stove. Then move the covers with the
perforated holes onto the ends of the distance
bolts and tighten with the provided screws.
For Free Flow FF18 Type 04:
Do the same way with sixteen spacing bolts, eight
on each side.

1.4.3 Installation of the reheating chamber
- For FF18 type 4 only
Glue the provided sealing onto the flange of the
combustion chamber.
Position the reheating chamber in that way, that
the flanges both of the main combusiton and the
reheating chamber are in contact.
Now use the supplied screws, washers and nuts
and tighten them with the help of two open-end
wrenches (SW 16 and 17).

2.1 Initial commissioning
Inspection of the viewing glass:
Please check the viewing glass installation before
initial heating (also cf. point 3.1.2). The screws for
the glass holder on the front side of the fire room
door may only be or become so firmly connected
that the glass can still move. The sealing cord
must be clamped by the glass all around.
